A skilled pharmacist and writer, he is also an effective leader recognised for his ability to communicate, collaborate, and engage effectively with stakeholders, including health professionals, patients, policymakers, and subject matter experts.

Rhyan worked clinically as a pharmacist for over 10 years and spent 7 years working in education, project management and policy roles with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. He is recognised for his proficiency in analysing complex policy issues and developing succinct documents for key stakeholders and policymakers, including State and Federal Governments.
